There was a full picture of the multi-layered ‘City’, an illustration of a settlement where the characters drop in, and a plan of Pop’s (voiced by Kazuhiro Yamaji) room as well.
Visitors are able to observe an illustration of the protagonist, Killy (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai), completely filled with hand-written notes in small letters regarding his suit, belt, and boots. They also displayed design works of POLYGON PICTURES, who also animated Knights of Sidonia series. The gallery exhibited numerous new designs and original manuscript reproductions of Nihei, who himself took the role of the creative consultant for the movie. The commemorative exhibition of the movie adaptation’s release on 20 May, The World of Tsutomu Nihei, in which visitors can experience the world of BLAME! and its concept, started at GALLERY X BY PARCO in Shibuya, Tokyo. To commemorate the release of the anime movie BLAME!, an exhibition called The World of Tsutomu Nihei opened its doors on 17 May at Shibuya PARCO.
