Although you do get cool gadgets at the end of it if you like that stuff, but to me it can ruin the game balance, especially if you do it early on.
As I said, it is painfully obvious that this was Bethesda's attempt to make a Call of Duty-like campaign, and it fails miserably. All you do throughout most of it is shoot at stuff, meaning you have to deal with Fallout 3's mediocre gunplay. And it is a tad insulting to the lore, and is just stupid in terms of the story and writing.Īnchorage plays like a poor man's Call of Duty, it too is also a linear corridor where all you do is just shoot shit, but it's even worse in that you can't loot anything or pick anything up, so you're stuck with what the game gives you until you're forced fed another gun. Mothership Zeta is just a bore to play through, all you do is just go through a bunch of corridors and shoot things. All of them except for Mothership Zeta and Operation Anchorage, although you can try them if you want I guess.
